Yeah, young women in music is especially common in Southern Rock. In all reality, it's very creepy.

I have no idea, although in my experience there's generally a lot of inspiration from 16-17 year old girls... They're usually mentally un-balanced!! hahaha
I did write one about an older lady once (I lost my innocence to an older lady haha )
It wasn't very good though

<font size="3" face="Arial">dude, the ratio of mentally un-balanced 20-40 year old girls i know is much higher then the ratio of mentally un-balanced teenage girls that i know but maybe that's just me. (and i probably shouldn't be posting this)

and for you ms. sixxx, if you would like i can re-do winger's she's only seventeen and replace 17 with a different, more appropriate age. one ending in 3 fits the tune nicely though might not make sense in the grander scheme of things.

I guess if the song gets written by someone who's in their early 20's, it's fine. Then they keep playing it when they're 40-50, and it's just weird.

<font size="3" face="Arial">Please tell me I'm not included in that, I don't want to get any more mentally screwed up when I hit my 20's, I'm bad enough now...

Garth Brooks....

"I went to work for her last summer...
A teenage kid so far from home
She was a lonley widowed woman
Hell bent to make it on her own..."

Not really that relevant, but i assume he'z talking about an older woman lol!

Or did you mean in the rock/glam genre?

Sherri, could be that the age group in question is the target audience. Then again,it could also be dirty old men writting about what dirty old men write about, lol!! Actually at this point in my life,as a parent of a girl that age,it creeps me out to hear it.
